Who runs this site
How to Break the Trauma Bond is an educational initiative of The N.O.W. Movement, led by Minister Lewis Robinson, founder of Church of Real Talk. Questions about this site or your information: [email protected].
The relationship reflection
The reflection runs in your browser. Its answers are held in the open page and are not submitted to our server or saved by the tool. Refreshing or leaving clears the reflection. You do not need to give your name or email to use it.
My Healing Check-In
Check-ins stay in the open page by default. If you choose “Keep my check-ins in this browser,” the tool uses local browser storage on that device and browser profile. It does not create an account or synchronize your entries with our server or another device.
This storage is not encrypted or password protected by the tool. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to read it. Clearing browser data, changing devices, or changing the website address can make saved entries unavailable. Entries saved on our temporary preview address will not automatically appear on the permanent domain.
You can edit or remove individual entries, clear all check-ins, turn browser saving off, or download a JSON copy using the tracker controls. Turning saving off removes the saved browser copy while keeping the current page session open. Downloaded files contain your entries; choose where to keep or delete them. The tool does not automatically restore entries from a downloaded file.
Website visits and cookies
The tools do not hide your visit or clear your browsing history. The hosting service and website security systems may process technical visit information, such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps, to deliver and protect the site. WordPress uses cookies for signed-in administration. Browser storage used by the healing tracker is separate from cookies.
Email, purchases, and workshop registration
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include so we can respond. Please avoid sending private journal entries, passwords, or information about other people. Purchase, delivery, or community-access requests can require contact and order information to fulfill what you request.
Payment and registration buttons lead to third-party services, including Stripe, Gumroad, and Eventbrite. Those services handle the information you submit under their own privacy policies. Payment-card details are entered on the provider’s checkout, not in either reflection tool.
Other websites and videos
Links to YouTube, community resources, and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. The YouTube channel is linked rather than embedded in the homepage. Opening an external link may share normal browser request information with that destination.
Your questions and requests
For information we hold through email or orders, contact [email protected] with your question or request. We cannot retrieve or erase tracker entries stored only in your browser; use the tracker controls or your browser’s site-data settings. We may need to retain records associated with fulfillment, accounting, disputes, or other applicable obligations.
Educational support
This site offers education and self-reflection, not therapy, diagnosis, crisis care, or a clinical safety assessment. The reflection is not a validated screening instrument. You may seek support without deciding whether a particular label fits your experience.
We will update this page when the site’s tools or data practices change.
